You might recall I posted a couple of weeks ago about my tips for hosting a #SportsNightIn and the fact that I’d be watching the Lions take on the All Blacks in their tour of New Zealand. These tips included having plenty of snacks on hand and some drinks on hand to wash them down. I also suggested that you get into the spirit of things by wearing the colours of the team you’re supporting – if that’s your thing of course.
With me starting 2 new jobs (yes 2) by the time Saturday rolled around I’m knackered so instead of it being a big party with nibbles, drinks and lots of people in their favourite teams’ colours (I still can’t decide which side I’m supporting) it was a relatively quiet affair with a bowl of pretzels and some water in front of the TV on Saturday afternoon.
We got comfy with hot water bottles and blankets and watched the 2 teams in what was a fab match and an even buy propecia online from usa better result for the Lions. It means it’s 1-1 out of the three matches so it’s all to play for in the final test match.
The joy of having Sky+ is that we could record the match on Saturday morning to watch later and knowing I had the Contact Numbers page for Sky* handy meant that if there were any issues I could call customer services and get them sorted quickly. I adore living in the countryside but sometimes it can be a pain when technology doesn’t want to work.
I quite enjoyed our quiet #SportsNightIn and have another one planned for the final match which should be a good one to watch. After that I’ll be looking forward to the Autumn tests this year and figuring out how badly Scotland are going to do this year.
What do you think of my #SportsNightIn or would you host your own?
