Funko Pop Vinyls Collection

Funko Pop Vinyls Collection

This post is the first of a new category for me here on Wishes, Hopes and Dreams and I certainly hope it won’t be the last. I’ve decided that it’s time to just let my inner geek out once and for all and the best way to do this is by showcasing my Funko Pop Vinyl collection.

I’d heard of Funko pops before (obviously) but for some reason, I just never got round to buying any. It wasn’t until we were in New York and staring at a solid wall of them trying to decide which ones to us for a friend as a birthday present that I felt it was time to start my own collection.

With Captain America: Civil War having been released on my birthday so that felt like the right place to start so I picked up an exclusive Captain America and Black Widow as she’s one of my favourite characters. As they were on offer I also picked up Hermione to kick start my Harry Potter collection.

On a couple of shopping outings, I picked up Sherlock with his violin, Harry Potter and also Hagrid. I’d never seen the Hagrid pop in stores before so this felt like fate. (Well that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it).

Al, the other pop vinyls in my collection are courtesy of Pop in a Box. I love this site as I can keep track of the pops in my collection as well as signing up to their subscription service. Each month you can be sent pops in the post and although they are a surprise until they arrive you will never receive one that don’t you want. You have the opportunity to go through all the options and thumbs up/down pops that you like/don’t want for the various categories. You can also turn off whole categories if they don’t interest you. It is fairly time consuming but worth it to get the pop vinyls you want through the post because the parcels are truly a surprise until you open them.

Since joining Pop in a Box, I’ve received Max and Gidget from the Secret Life of Pets and Scarlet Witch who is a great addition to my Marvel collection.

There is also now a geek tab in my categories menu and I can’t wait to write up lots more geeky posts and share my geekiness with you all.image

Which pops do you love and which should I be adding to my collection?

Disclaimer: I was not paid for this post in any way. I honestly love Pop in a Box and wanted to share it with you lovely people.
