Subscription boxes are everywhere at the moment and it’s no surprise that they’re so popular. No matter the type of the box, you get a selection of items delivered to your door for a price which is considerably less than they would have cost if bought separately. I have three favourite subscription boxes – even though I only now receive two of them on a regular basis.
There was a list created of the best subscription boxes in the UK but I am weirdly proud of the fact that my favourites aren’t on the list. I like finding things that are different from the norm, you just need to look at my bookshelves to figure that out.
I’ve posted about My Little Box – their French Riviera box being one of my all time faves. I loved the selection of items in the boxes and the mix of brands which were included too. I only stopped getting this box as they became so ‘samey’ every month. I ended up with doubles of products I never used and they were just going to waste. As well as beauty items, there were lifestyle ones too but other than the t-shirt which I wear a lot, I didn’t use them either and it was feeling like a waste of money.
A large number of my posts here on the blog include the Blogger Beauty Box. I adore the love and care that is taken when packing up the items and popping them in a box. They were all wrapped in pink tissue paper which made it more of an experience when diving in to find out what’s in the box. The picture above is the contents of the most recent box and my god is it awesome. I’ve been using the Witch micellar water since it arrived and it’s now my favourite for getting my make-up off at the end of a long day.
GeekGear actually offer two subscription boxes on their website but my favourite is the World of Wizardry box which means I get a box of Harry Potter goodies through the post every month. You choose your house and some of the items in the box will match your house colours. You even get a t-shirt in every box which in a weird way means I’m actually saving money and getting my geeky fix all in one go.
Do you have any favourite subscription boxes? Let me know what they are in the comments below.
