I have a travel bucket list that is quickly exceeding the length of my arm but in this post, I’m sharing the ones from the very top of my list. Granted some of them may need a lottery win to achieve but to me, the dream is worth waiting for. I already have various travel posts on the blog but for some reason, a travel bucket list has never been one of them. This is strange for me, as I love thinking about travel and planning my next adventure but I don’t always manage to write them down. Now I have, I feel like this list might be getting even longer.
New Zealand is on my travel bucket list for a few different reasons not just because it’s where Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit were filmed. North Island is where my grandfather grew up and where one of my cousins now lives. A lot of the family went over for his wedding but I’ve never been which is why it’s at the top of my list.
I’ve possibly read one too many books that are set in San Francisco as this is somewhere I really want to visit. There’s nothing I particularly want to do, I think I just want to be able to say that I’ve been.
Wilmington – North Carolina
There’s one reason Wilmington is on my list and yes it is One Tree Hill and yes I know how sad that makes me sound but I do really want to go and visit where one of my favourite TV shows was filmed.
A cruise is something that I’ve never been sure about but I think I would like to do once to see what I think of it. Iglu Cruise* offers a huge selection of cruises but the one that caught my eye is the Disney Cruise which I think would be right up my street as I’m a big kid at heart and love anything Disney. What’s even better is they offer one in the med which has a stop in Cannes.
Fly First Class
Flying first class is something I think we all need to experience at least once. Who wouldn’t want to fly long haul in complete luxury. I think this may be the way I fly to eventually visit New Zealand as it’s such a long combination of flights.
What’s on your travel bucket list? Do you want to do any of what’s on mine?
