Magnitone Barefaced Review*

Having meandered onto Twitter for a catch up with the days tweets (as you do, or at least, I do – on a regular basis) I realised there was a chat on via Bloggers Hangout. There was the opportunity to be gifted a Magnitone Barefaced for review, so long as I filled in the online form and sent a tweet including the brand the hashtag. That was the easy part – then there was the waiting. The waiting to see if I’d received one, the waiting for the dispatch email and the actual product to arrive. It finally arrived and here is my long awaited review of this glorious facial brush.

So off I went armed with the now charged Magnitone Barefaced and a Simple facial wash to see if it lived up to its claims that it deep-cleanses pores, tones and beautifully conditions your skin. Having read the instructions and other reviews (I like to do my research) I applied the facial wash to my face as I would normally and then let the Magnitone go to work on getting deeper into my skin. I then rinsed my face off as normal and once I was out the shower I made sure I applied a good layer of my moisturiser.

The Results

I loved what this did to my notoriously dodgy skin, and it meant that my moisturiser seemed to be more effective than normal. There was a downside, though – the barefaced did such a good job of dealing with the impurities in my skin that it has now become a bit blotchy (hence no selfies) but I think this is a worse before it gets better situation and should get easier the more I use it, which I can guarantee will be often.

The other important aspect I adored was the wireless charging aspect which meant I could take the brush into the shower with me. It has a little egg shaped device which is held magnetically to the base of the brush and then plugs into a USB charging block.

The Magnitone Barefaced comes in a choice of three colours and costs £70 if bought from their website, where they also sell all the other bits you might need including replacement brush heads and chargers.
