Bidvine: Helping my Fitness*

bidvine helping my fitness

I’ve posted several times on my blog about my surgery and the medication that I’m taking but this has made me realise that I haven’t posted about what I’m doing (or at least thinking about doing) to try and regain some of the fitness levels that I’ve lost since having my operation. This is post is all about what I plan to do to increase my fitness level and how the services provided by Bidvine can assist with that.

I used to be a dancer and had a fair bit of flexibility, but since having a hysterectomy, my fitness level took a nosedive. I admit, being asthmatic doesn’t help but I don’t do much exercise other than walking and this is something I’m hoping to change. I really want to start doing yoga again but I have no idea where to look for an instructor that can help me with what I need or even when there are yoga classes on in my village. This is where Bidvine comes in.

This is where Bidvine comes in and becomes my online knight in shining armour. For those of you that haven’t heard of it, Bidvine is a site where you can search for a professional for the task you need. That could be a plumber, electrician. cleaner or even painting lessons. In my case, I’m looking for a yoga instructor in Glasgow, so I pop in my postcode and search criteria and then I answer the questions to give the system a better idea of what it is I’m looking for.

After that, it’s all about letting the system do the work and waiting to see what happens. Bidvine works on the principal that you tell them what you’re looking for, they find you people that have signed up to them who can do what you’re looking for and they bid for the project you’ve posted. So in my case, I would be waiting for local yoga instructors to get in touch with me about what they can offer, how much it will cost etc. I then agree to the bid I want to accept and follow the process from there.

The plan is to find a yoga instructor that can help me with my particular issues and get me heading in the right direction. By using Bidvine to find that person, I can open up a discussion about what they can do to help me with the backing of a safe online platform behind me when it comes to being able to read reviews others have left on the site.

Hopefully, I can start my yoga soon – uni work allowing – and find some of my fitness level that has run away and never returned.

Have you used Bidvine to find a professional and is it something you would consider using?
