How Much Is My Face Worth?

face worth

I’ve seen a few bloggers – including Kat from Chapters of Kat and Sarah from Sarah in Wonderland – posting about how much their face is worth on one day of wearing makeup and I wanted to give it a try. There’s just one problem with this. I don’t wear makeup every day so I decided to wait until a special occasion to write this post. The Angel Wings ball I posted about recently was on Saturday and this felt like the perfect excuse to write a post detailing how much my face is worth.

I’m going to break the post up into different sections to make it easier to read as well as being easier to calculate. I also feel I have a nice mix of high end and high street products. I do feel bad including the Kylie Eyeshadow but it’s just so pretty and with the flecks of gold is made for a special occasion.

Base
Witch Hazel Primer – £4.65
Benefit Air Control Eye Primer (tester) – Full-size value is £21.50
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer – £5.49
YSL Touche Eclat – Normal & Colour Corrector (peach) – £25
Benefit Boi-ing – shade 1 – £17.50
No7 Radiance Touch Foundation in Calico – £12.50
Total – £86.64
Cheeks
Crown Brush Blush Palette – £14.99
Sleek Highlighter in Solstice – £9.99
Total –  £24.98
Eyes
Makeup Revolution – Iconic 3 Palette – £4
Kylie Rose Gold Eyeshadow – Now sold out but retailed for $20 which is approx £16
Benefit Bad Gal Eyeliner -£15
Rimmel Black Eyeliner – £2.99
Benefit Eyelash Primer – £18.50
Benefit They’re Real Mascara – £19.50
Total – £75.99
Lips
Models Own Lip Primer – £6.99
Kylie Lip Kit in Candy K – $29 which is approx £23.21
Total – £30.20
Overall my face is worth £217.81  which isn’t bad going for someone who doesn’t wear much makeup, however, apparently I have an addiction to high-end makeup . I have, however, decided that I need to experiment with my face a bit more but for now I will be sticking with some of my favourites which are in this post.
