That is the question. It’s a question that’s been on my mind a lot recently. When I read posts by others that say the only way to be successful is to have a specific niche and only write posts in that niche, I feel like I’m being shoved into a box I don’t fit in. My mind goes a million miles a minute and my ideas for posting on this corner of the internet are infinite, vast and all over the place. In saying that, I think I’ve figured out a way I can have a niche without being stuck in a box that I can’t get out of.

The Overall Niche

I’m labelling myself as a blog tips, travel and living life blog. Now you’re probably wondering what I mean by living life? It means I’m sharing my life with you. For a long time I’ve felt that the term lifestyle doesn’t fit me or this blog and I end up having to explain what I mean when I meet new people and they don’t understand what a blogger is or what I do. Living means sharing the things I love and use all the time. This could be beauty brands that I can’t live without or the clothes I’m loving. I want that to give me the scope to cover a number of topics including my health without having to set up a dedicated website for it.

Blog Tips

I’ll always share my blog tips on From Fiona. It’s something I love and am passionate about but I don’t have the time to set up a second site for this. I’ll also be posting a lot more about being a virtual assistant and what that means, the work I do and how I can help you with your business or blog plans. I’m always open to suggestions so if there’s a topic you’re struggling with then you can add a comment here or send me an email.

VA Services

I’ve recently added Virtual Assistant to my ever growing list of job titles. It’s something I’ve been working on for some time and decided I should finally take the plunge. If you’re looking for help managing social accounts or just want to hand off the mundane tasks you don’t like doing then I’m your girl. I love a good spreadsheet and am happy to have tasks delegated to me. Follow the link above and you can find out more about what I can do for your blog or business. The link above will take you to my digital site where you can see all the work I can do and download my brochure too.

As well as having the VA business I’ll also be sharing more blog posts about what a VA does and can do for a blogger or business owner. I’m looking forward to sharing this part of my life too.

Travel

A bit like blog tips I’ll always share my travel tips with you too. I my not be travelling as much recently (obviously) but that doesn’t mean I don’t have a backlog of posts to work through. I like to be able to share my travel pics too and writing travel posts gives me the scope to do that too.

What about Instagram?

With a niche there’s an assumption that Instagram content will change too. I’m still going to post myself, my favourite products and travel destinations but I’m thinking about adding some short blogging tips posts in there too. Quick fixes that will help you in the long run. If you followed me for specific content and there’s something you want to see then my DMs are always open.
