Can’t Live Without – The Skincare Edition

This post has ended up being a combination of a can’t live without post and an empties post as most of the products ran out at the same time. As an eczema and dermatitis sufferer that also has very dry and sensitive skin finding skincare products that work for me has been interesting to say the least but these are the products that I have found work for me.

All the items listed are the ones I use on a regular basis and with the way my skin is I really couldn’t bear to be without any of them. (All links are to Boots but other than the No7 products, they are available elsewhere too).

Simple Facial Scrub – £3.49

I use this exfoliator every time I’m in the shower. It’s great for getting rid of dead skin, keeping my face clean and helping keep my skin clear of any pesky spots that might be trying to make an appearance. This will always be on my shopping list as it’s one of the few where I don’t feel like I’ve taken the top layer of my skin off.

Garnier Micellar Water – £4.99

While, I am enjoying using this micellar water, I think I’ll try one of Garnier’s other micellar water’s which is designed for sensitive skin – and my skin definitely qualifies. Since using this, I have felt my skin is cleaner and feels more moisturised even before I moisturise.

No7 Day Cream – £13.50 & No7 Night Cream – £13.50
I purchased both of these a while ago, as after a facial I was told I had very dry skin and needed to do something about it. It turned out my faithful moisturiser that I had been using for years just wasn’t thick enough for my dry skin. I love both of these products as they are both very thick and do exactly what they are designed to. While I could use just the day cream, the night cream is worthwhile as it does it work overnight and means I don’t need as much day cream in the morning. I know they are both fairly pricey but bought during a 3 for 2 offer and they become more affordable.
But, finally, I think I might have the combination that works for my skin. It’s absolutely safe to say that I will be buying all these products again as now my skin is used to them I’m not sure I could change to anything else now.
