The claims
Garnier claim that this toner will “eliminate the last traces of makeup, impurities, and pollution to leave your skin perfectly cleaned.”
The toner is made using Cherry Tree extract which is supposed to “soothe normal to dry skin” as well as “leaving the skin toned, perfectly cleansed and feeling soft”.
As you’d expect I’ve been using the toner after my micellar water but before my moisturiser. I will admit that my skin feels so soft after using it that I don’t always remember to apply my moisturiser/night cream but it’s not been a total disaster for my skin.
The scent is lovely and the cherry tree extract actually reminds of the rosewater I used to buy from the chemist when I was a lot younger.
The only downside I can find is it does come out of the bottle very quickly and as a result I decanted it into an empty spray bottle (the ones you get as part of the holiday packs) and that works a lot better as well as making sure I’m using the right amount of the product and therefore not wasting any.
I loved this toner so much I’ve already bought another bottle even though I’ve not finished the old one yet as it was part of an offer when I was stocking up on my holiday essentials.
The only place I’ve been able to find it is Boots. It retails at £3.29 for a 200ml bottle but it is often on offer which can make it more affordable. (When I purchased it was part of an ‘2 items for £4’ offer).
