My husband and I first found the Bodeans restaurant chain in Fulham during a visit to London a few years ago and since then, has become a regular haunt when we’re down.
On arrival at the restaurant in Tower Hill, we were advised that there was a wait for tables but after giving a mobile number we were able to wait and have a drink at the bar whilst being able to check the process of our wait using a link in a text message from the restaurant. (I loved this touch as we felt we hadn’t been forgotten about).
Once we were at our table and had menus it was a fairly quick process for us to decide what we want. This is one of the few occasions my husband will share food and we went for the ‘Boss Hog’ Platter which includes pulled pork, two types of ribs, burnt end, chicken wings and sausages. Our server was even able to tell us that the sausages had sage in them. (Yes, I’m allergic to sage. Yes, I know it’s weird).
Safe to say, by the time we were both finished we were stuffed. And neither of us had room for dessert, which is rare!
