When it comes to loans it is a minefield out there on the internet. Before you even figure out which company to use there is the myriad of terms to wade your through as well as the comparison sites which more often than not can confuse you rather than make the process easier. I was contacted by Vivus to share who they are as a company as well as what they offer to their customers in a simple and easy to read manner.
Who are Vivus?
Vivus are a loan company who offer a one payment loan which means it is paid back in one go to them when you are next paid and the intention is to place control into the hands of the borrower. The application process is quick and simple with funds being paid out after your application has been approved. You pay back the loan in one payment when you next get paid. They have so much confidence in who they lend to that if the payment date is missed there is a 5-day cushion where the loan can be repaid before any charges are applied. After the 5 days, a late payment fee of £12 is applied and then interest is applied on a daily rate.
Vivus was set up with the intention of removing the stigma of short-term loans and to show that they do not want borrowers to be in debt but to merely help them out of a short-term difficulty.
What do Vivus offer?
Vivus offer a short term solution for borrowers who need a loan to tide them over until pay day. The intention is to lend to people who are careful with their money but have hit a bump in the road along the way but want to borrow for a short period of time and then pay the money back quickly and efficiently when they get paid.
No matter how much budgeting. planning or saving we do there will always be situations where we need a helping hand to get us through until payday. While it would be nice to be able to plan for the unexpected (my crystal ball is broken) that’s why certain things are unexpected. We don;t know that we’ll need to buy a new fridge or oven because they old one broke down. But, companies like Vivus can help us when they do without judgment as to the fact that we haven’t planned and saved for the situation when it arose.
In short, Vivus offers a short-term solution to those that need a helping hand when life doesn’t quite go as intended.
