The Boohoo Spa Tour event in Glasgow was held at the Village Hotel (Glasgow) and was the first blog event I have actually managed to attend in my home city and I was so excited. The event was on a day where I had an afternoon with a lecture and tutorial so the jacuzzi definitely had my name on it.
When I got to the hotel the first thing I had to do was find my way into the swimsuit I had been very kindly gifted by Boohoo for the event, except I had a moment and managed to not get a photo of myself wearing said swimsuit. Although as you can see in the pic below it’s a fab print and was a good fit for someone is multiple sizes across her body.
After spending some time in the sauna and the jacuzzi, it was time to go and get changed ready for our facial tutorial. This is the bit I was really looking forward to as my skin hasn’t been behaving itself recently. What made it even better was the selection of canapés and prosecco waiting for us through in the spa.
The facial tutorial was great and made me understand what I need to be using on my skin to keep it in good condition. What was really interesting was being given two toners to smell and the one we preferred would be the one that our skin wanted. We were taken through each stage of doing a facial and the Espa products we were getting to try left my face feeling baby soft. I think I was stroking my face on the train on the way home but I’m not ashamed to admit it.
The spa atmosphere and music was so relaxing that after using the facilities and being treated to the facial tutorial I was so relaxed that I could have curled up on one of the seats in the spa and quietly passed out. At the end of the event, we were lucky enough to be given a goody bag with a box of Espa goodies, a St. Tropez in shower tan and some of the most gorgeous unicorn brushes from Boohoo which was a nice surprise to take home with me.
This event had me itching to back to the Village hotel, Glasgow and spend more time in their spa and leisure facilities. The hotel is located on Pacific Drive which makes it accessible by car as well as being handy for the SECC and the Hydro if you’re going to an event there.
