Organised Mess: My Confession

organised mess

You’d think being an honours student writing her dissertation that I’d be organised but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I am an organised mess and I’m not ashamed to admit it.

I’m the person that has piles of paper in various places but knows where everything is. That pile of books may look illogical and out of place but in my head, there is a logical order to it all. My dad does the same thing and his desk in one office resembled a mountain but he knew where everything was and it’s nice to know that I get my organised mess status from somewhere.
An infographic compiled to advertise Furniture At Work’s Reception Furniture suggests that it’s all because of my star sign. Now I know not everyone will believe it but I am a typical Taurus. For a dancer, I’m the loudest person in the house when I’m moving around and I’m also probably the clumsiest person I know too. According to an online search, I’m also reliable, practical and ambitious and I’m fairly certain that you’ll agree with me with those descriptions of me.

Based on the information in the infographic above, my status as being an organised mess is fully based on my star sign and I’m ok with it. According to their data. I’m stubborn but organised and efficient, apparently and I’d love to know if the people that know me think the same thing. I also agree with the ‘a place for everything and everything in its place’ and can confirm that if I had a filing cabinet (I probably need one for all the paper I have) that it would be the tidiest one you’ve ever seen.

Are you an organised mess or are you completely organised?
