For those of you that follow me on Twitter or have read this blog will know I am currently in my third year of a BA Business degree and yesterday was the day we all received our official module results for the first trimester. Safe to say I was scared to hell and needed a bit of prodding to actually attempt to login to the site to see my results.
You’ll be pleased to learn that I achieved an A and two B1’s (60-69%) for my three modules and I couldn’t be happier to have done better than “just pass” some of them. For a while, there was a distinct possibility that a pass was all I was going to get as my motivation seemed to do a disappearing act.
Now it’s onto the monumental task of trimester 2 and this is why this little post is so important. I am now studying a digital marketing module, and as part of that, I need to have a blog and post regularly etc. There may be a bit of a difference in the posts that will be coming your way from Wishes, Hopes and Dreams except there is one problem, I’m not entirely sure what those posts will be.
Yes, I think I may have lost the plot ever so slightly – I should be writing this blog for me, shouldn’t I? The thing is I like to write posts that I think people will read but I also want to do well in this module too. I’m toying with the idea of a “How to….” series which may encompass some of the many things I have learned since I started blogging a year ago to any other subject which may fit the bill. I feel leaving it more open will mean that I don’t get bored or see this new series as a chore to post.
Hopefully, you won’t desert me and my plan at the end of the module is to conduct a reader survey to see if you like the changes and to basically gauge your reactions to the content I have been posting recently.
Other than that life around Wishes, Hopes and Dreams is kind of quiet other than the usual uni work which will be causing me constant headaches and drama (one course, in particular, is already painful but I’ll survive). I’ve really enjoyed writing a life update post and I’m hoping to do more of them as the year goes on with anything that comes to mind.
As always please leave me comments below or you’ll probably be more likely to find me on Twitter.
