I saw the spring gift swap hashtag on twitter and thought it was a great idea. Like a blogger pen friend almost. The weird thing was Adele (adelesmith.co.uk) matched me with my best friend, the lovely Amanda over at AJ Loves. Which in a way made it harder as I wanted to get her something different to the gifts I normally buy for her.

Now for the fun bit – what I received.
I should have taken photos at the time, but I had an accident on Friday and only felt up to taking the pics yesterday so here they are in all their staged glory.
Amanda kindly made me my own official blog notebook which I love and is even more special as that piece of ribbon is from the same reel that she used to put straps on my wedding dress.
Some lovely notecards – the top ones are very me.

And finally a wee selection of goodies. The piggy keyring is a torch and it oinks which I’ll have great fun with. The small vial is some fairy dust and the two items at the front are magnetic bookmarks which will be used very soon.
All in all, I love my gifts and I hope Amanda loves hers too.
