There are lots of things in this world that should be easier to do than they actually are. I also find a certain satisfaction in finding ways to make life easier and I thought I should share some of them with you.
Booking Train Tickets
As dedicated as I am booking my train tickets with the company I’ll be travelling with, I love trainline for sorting all my travel woes. Although you do pay a small booking fee, I find their site much easier to navigate than all the various company sites that exist.

Booking hotels can be such a pain and there are so many options it can be hard to know what you’re actually booking. After lots of trial and error, I’ve found that booking direct with the hotel is actually the best option. They have the best rate available and you can rest assured that they have your booking and it won’t be a scam. My favourite hotel ever is Malmaison and their website is really reliable and user-friendly. Customer Services
Calling a customer service department is a necessary evil these days – especially if you’ve ordered something online. The problem can be finding the telephone number you need. Contact Number UK is a fab site where you can search for the number you need and if you’re calling from a UK landline the calls are approx 7p/min which suits my bank balance.

When it comes to editing my blog photos I am addicted to using the Afterlight app. It’s really easy to use and adds the right amount of brightness to my shots without making them look unnatural.

I hate doing my own accounts which coming from someone who once upon a time started an accounting degree is saying something. I can do the basics but I need a firm to do my tax return for me and Brighton accountants Plummer Parsons come highly recommended to me for all my account needs.
