Why I love vintage jewellery
I love pieces of jewellery that have a story behind them and you definitely get that with vintage jewellery. My favourite piece is a silver and garnet ring (pictured below) that we found in the back of my grandmother’s wardrobe when clearing out her house after she died. What’s even funnier is with the size of the ring it would never have fitted her so we have no idea why it was there, who it was for or even who the original owner may have been. It’s great knowing there is a story that goes with the piece and even though I don’t wear it anymore (it’s very fragile) it’s a piece that I love.
