Shadow Switch Review*

Shadow switch is a product which I had seen on Twitter for quite and when the company behind it said they were looking for more bloggers to review I got in contact as I felt this would be another beauty post I could try my hand at.

It can be incredibly time-consuming when doing an eyeshadow look and having to find more than one brush when you want to use lots of different shades to create the perfect blended eye look. I have a slight issue where I don’t own many brushes (I know what sort of blogger am I?) and constantly want to use the same brush for different shades. This is where Shadow Switch comes in really handy, as you can use the same brush with different eyeshadow shades and there isn’t any colour transfer.

When using the Shadow Switch (£6) all you need to do is rub the brush in circles over the top of the pad in the tin and test the brush on the back of your hand to make sure the previous colour has come off. When testing the Shadow Switch I used the 4 travel size brushes (£13) in the picture below.

They’re a really good set of brushes and the mini shading brush is the perfect size for the looks I like to create with them. The company were also nice enough to send me some brush guards (£6) which keep your brushes in perfect working order when in a makeup bag and getting jostled with other beauty products.

I can honestly say that Shadow Switch has now become essential when doing my makeup and has even inspired me to wear a bit more makeup on a regular basis. The brushes come in handy for keeping in a makeup bag in my handbag and the brush guards keep them looking their best and doing exactly what they should when I go to use them.

Have you tried Shadow Switch? What did you think of it?
Leave me a comment or you’ll find me on Twitter.
