Favourite Places to Eat in London

It’s no secret that I love going to London and there are some restaurants that keep drawing me back in. I’ve eaten there enough to now be able to write a post about my favourite places to eat in London. If you enjoy posts about London then I would also recommend reading all about my faviurite places too.

Chez Antoinette

I’ve been to Chez Antoinette twice now and I love it. It’s hidden in the bottom of Covent Garden which makes it a little hard to find but once you’re there it’s perfect. It’s a French style cafe with a formule breakfast and one that I will keep going back for. I have a poached egg on toast and a cup of tea which is around the £6 mark which for a small breakfast is very affordable (by London standards).

Fable

Fable (owned by Drake and Morgan) is a little out of the way at Holborn but it’s worth the journey. I’d eaten in other Drake and Morgan establishments before but I only made it to Fable in August when my husband and I were there on holiday. The food was good and they accommodated my allergies which was a plus. The only downside is the service was horrifically slow considering we were the only diners in at the time.

It’s a restaurant I would consider going back to, if only for the decor if not for the service. They do an amazing eggs royale though and that would probably be enough to get me through the door.

Bodeans BBQ

I adore Bodean’s BBQ restaurants and it’s basically down to the fact that I can eat a lot and not be judged for it. They serve Kansas style BBQ and is one of the few places that no matter when we go are always busy. You can’t reserve tables either which makes it harder but they have bar space where you can wait until they have a table ready for you. It’s somewhere the husband always wants to go when we’re in London as our favourite BBQ restaurant in Glasgow has now shut down.
