Snack ideas with Chocobee*

I’m always up for finding new snack ideas and now that I’m back at work I also need ideas for what I can have for breakfast that’s easy to do but also filling for a day of serving customers. For a while, I’d been having plain brioche buns but I really wanted a change and so this PR parcel came at exactly the right time. We’ve been trying out the Chocobee by Rowse and we’re now onto our second jar it’s that good!

This post contains gifted items but all views and opinions are my own.

For anyone that doesn’t know what Chocobee is, it’s a mix of honey and cocoa with no added extras to make delicious chocolate spread that I think even Winnie the Pooh would go mad for! My husband has been using the Rowse Acacia honey over his greek yoghurt so I was excited to try another of their products. One thing I will admit is that I don’t need much of it as I find it very chocolatey but if you like dark chocolate then you’ll love this.

As a breakfast or snack, it’s great on a warm pancake as it helps it spread a bit better. The honey makes it a very gooey and quite thick but the heat of the pancake defintiely helps. It would have if helped if I’d done it before I took the photo for this post but that’s what I get for trying to be quick so that I could eat the product!

One thing my husband has been enjoying doing with this spread is having it with a slice of homemade Madeira cake and a scoop (or two) of clotted cream ice cream. Apparently it’s a fab combo if you like a sauce with your ice cream and have nothing else in the house. On my next day off my plan is to try it on toast as I used to love honey on toast so this should be a winning combination for me.

Overall, this is a product that we will continue to buy for a long time to come and I hope you do too!
