Before anyone thinks I’ve gone totally insane and jumped on the bandwagon for “that” piece of fiction I would like to point out that this will actually be a clothing post. Namely the number of items in my wardrobe that are grey and how I style them which on this day seems to only total 4 even though somehow it feels like more.
No matter what I do grey seems to be my go-to colour as it goes with my milk bottle skin tone and with the various bottoms I team the items with (jeans, leggings etc.)
The first of these is a grey v-neck pullover sweater from Primark that I adore as it goes really well over my checked shirt and gives it a really preppy look which not only looks good but is comfy and warm for sitting in cold lecture theatres.
Next up is my jumper dress which was an ebay find a while back that has stuck with me as it can be dressed up for an interview with leggings, knee high boots and a blazer or dressed down with a pair of ballet flats and a cardigan.
Third on my list is a cowl neck jumper from H&M which seems to be my go to “I’m ill” jumper as its really cosy and I don’t overheat when wearing it too which is always a big plus when your temperature fluctuates as much as mine does.
The last item of clothing in various shades of grey is a jumper I bought from Jane Norman a few years ago and has since been mended by my mum but you’d never know – her darning is amazing. This is the jumper I wear when some of my favourites are in the wash and I’m sure we all have items of clothing we save for wash days.
