Staying Cosy at Christmas with Fishpools Beds

staying cosy

If it’s one thing that I love to do, it’s staying cosy at Christmas, actually, that could be true at any time of year. When I’m blogging I stay in bed, with the electric blanket on and a large cup of tea at hand but our bed isn’t quite as cosy as it could be. This post is dedicated to all the beds that Fishpools* have on offer that I would love to have to be able to make our room much cosier this Christmas.

Ideally, I would love to have a storage bed as although we use the space under our bed for storage the dust that gathers under there is horrendous and I have so many blankets and nowhere to put them that a storage bed would be ideal. I say ideal but it would probably be the husband putting things in and arguing when I ask him to get them out for me. I’ve chosen the three storage beds that I would love and popped them below (note I have played the money is no object game as it’s nice to dream every once in a while).

This bed reminds me of one of my favourite hotel beds in the Malmaison London and even comes as a Superking which would be perfect for us. The headboard is upholstered which means comfort for someone like me that likes to sit up in bed and read as well as blogĀ in bed.

I love the addition of the drawers under this bed as this means more storage and storage that I can access too which is even better. This bed also has options for where the hinge is (top or side) and although I like having choices there are just a few too many there for my liking.

Is it just me or does this bed scream blogger? I love the lighter colour compared to the darker two but it wouldn’t stay that colour for long in our house with the amount of dirt that the husband brings home from his work. But, if you’re going for a pink and grey colour scheme then this is the bed for you.

Staying cosy at Christmas isn’t just a comfy bed though. For me, it also means a cosy blanket, a hot water bottle and fluffed up pillow or two.

What are your essentials for staying cosy this Christmas?
